Assistant Controller

Israel - Ramat-Gan · Full-time · Junior

About The Position

In the Controller role, you will be responsible for the subsidiary's accounting and finance activities such as: monthly and quarterly closing, Payroll, Ensuring compliance with global tax regulations, accounts payable & accounts receivable, and all associated financial reporting.

You will work closely on all financial matters with company management. Success in this role will be demonstrated through actionable data-driven analysis and efficient financial operations for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain global payroll compliance and audit
  • Maintain financial controls and business operations
  • Monitor company financial performance
  • Create and monitor department budgets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Analyze spend and identify areas for improvement and cost savings
  • Create and enforce company expense policies and procedures
  • Manage preparation for global payroll
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly global closing and deliver end-to-end reporting package and financial statements
  • Develop financial reports and deliver company metrics for senior management and board members
  • Ensure all financial processes meet regulatory and compliance guidelines and standards 
  • Lead, manage and direct financial support and accounting team members
  • Work directly with global bookkeeping and payroll teams, and global employees 

Requirements

Must Haves

  • Internship in one of the big 4 at Hi-Tech department
  • 3-4 years of experience (including internship)
  • Prior experience during the internship with Hi-Tech companies, specifically startups
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, and Tax reporting requirements
  • Reliable and able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively
  • Excellent English – written and verbal
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Nice to Have

  • Experience in B2C startups
  • Experience in a similar role in a B2C company
