The Financial Information Systems manager will manage and optimize financial information systems to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficiency.

This role requires a deep understanding of financial procedures and requirements as well as technical skills with Zuora or NetSuite systems.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Management: Oversee financial information systems' implementation, configuration, and maintenance. Ensure systems operate effectively and meet organizational needs.
  • Financial Reporting: Develop and generate financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. Analyze data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration & Support:
  • Work closely with finance, Platform, and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on system functionalities and financial processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and standards. Assist with internal and external audits as required.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and systems. Implement solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Project Management: Lead or participate in projects related to financial systems enhancements, upgrades, or new implementations.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Experience with system integration and process automation.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of experience managing finance systems, with hands-on experience in Zuora or NetSuite.
  • Strong understanding of financial procedures, compliance requirements, and B2B financial transactions.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Experience with system integration, data management, and process automation.
  • Proven experience in project management and system implementation- an advance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
