About The Position

Elementor’s Product Marketing team is looking to hire a Competitive Research Specialist with deep roots in the WordPress ecosystem and web creation industry as a whole. The perfect candidate would have created websites professionally, using a variety of tools, plugins building platforms and methods.

Essentially, you will be the top authority at Elementor for everything there is to know (and do) about the competitive landscape. This is a highly strategic role, impacting product, marketing, brand and management through deep analysis and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Owning all strategic consulting and research into the web creation industry at Elementor
  • Methodically using web creation products and tools to their fullest extent on a daily basis, documenting their features, experiences and messages
  • Drawing in-depth information on key and emerging players in the web creation industry through usage and analysis, including product positioning, pricing and packaging
  • Garnering an intimate knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem, top plugin developers, latest releases, new key players
  • Analyzing quarterly reports, press releases and campaigns and providing insights about the state of the industry
  • Identify strategic business opportunities through deep competitive research
  • Advising senior management on the best ways to use provided data


Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in building websites professionally in a WordPress environment (as a freelancer or part of a company/agency) experienced with other web creation tools? Even better!
  • Bonus points if you have previous experience working in a product company as part of a design, product or marketing teams
  • A team player, experienced with working across different departments and disciplines (marketing, product, data, executive)
  • Understanding of product, UX, business metrics and 
  • Strong presentational skills and ability to visualize your insights
  • Are able to operate independently across a set of cross-functional partners
  • Have excellent written and spoken English (Native speaker? Even better)
