About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced DevOps FinOps Engineer to join our Cloud DevOps team. In this role, you will lead cost optimization, efficiency, and financial accountability while also designing, implementing, and managing a highly scalable cloud infrastructure as part of your core DevOps responsibilities. You will work closely with R&D teams to ensure our cloud environments remain cost-effective, scalable, and high-performing, while also improving automation, monitoring, and overall infrastructure reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze cloud costs, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency
  • Develop automated cost-control mechanisms to ensure cost-efficient cloud usage.
  • Continuously improve our infrastructure to be more secure, scalable, and cost-efficient
  • Provide clear visibility into cloud expenditures through dashboards and reporting tools
  • Collaborate Work with Finance and Engineering teams to align cloud costs with business goalscloud spending with business needs
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Optimize Kubernetes workloads and GKE clusters to balance performance and cost
  • Research and apply new technologies to improve efficiency in cloud operations
  • Control and develop monitoring and observability solutions, integrating cost metrics

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes
  • Knowledge and experience with cloud vendors such as GCP/AWS – Must
  • Experience in cloud cost management, budgeting, and FinOps strategies – Must
  • Hands-on experience in production environments – Must
  • Experience with cloud cost analysis tools (e.g., GCP Billing, AWS Cost Explorer, FinOps platforms) – Must
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab – Must
  • Experience with Terraform or other provisioning tools – Advantage
  • Experience with highly available, 24/7 production systems – Advantage
