About The Position

We’re seeking a Director of Product Marketing – Editor to define and lead the market narrative for Elementor’s Editor. This role will be central to shaping the Editor’s positioning, storytelling, and go-to-market strategy — ensuring that what we build resonates deeply with web creators, agencies, and enterprises.

As Director of Product Marketing, you’ll lead a team of Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) and collaborate closely with Product, Design, Growth, and Sales to drive adoption, conversion, and retention. You’ll act as the bridge between customer insights, competitive trends, and product strategy, ensuring the Editor is not only loved by users but also wins in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Positioning & Messaging: Define and continuously refine the value proposition and messaging for the Editor across freelancers, agencies, and enterprises.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead integrated GTM plans for major launches, campaigns, and monetization initiatives, partnering with Product, Growth, and Sales.
  • Customer & Market Insight: Drive market research, competitive intelligence, and customer segmentation to shape both roadmap priorities and positioning.
  • Storytelling & Content: Develop narratives, messaging frameworks, and customer-facing assets that bring the Editor’s vision to life across all channels.
  • Conversion & Monetization: Collaborate with Product and Growth on strategies to increase free→Pro conversion, ARPU, and retention through compelling GTM execution.
  • Agency & Enterprise Focus: Build tailored positioning and campaigns that expand Elementor’s footprint into agencies and enterprises.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the marketing counterpart to Product Directors, ensuring market alignment across discovery, development, and delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Product Marketing Managers, fostering a culture of storytelling, clarity, and impact.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in product marketing, including 3+ years managing teams in SaaS, B2B, or growth-driven environments.
  • Strategic GTM Expertise: Proven track record building and executing go-to-market strategies for complex digital products.
  • Storytelling Ability: Exceptional skill at crafting compelling narratives and positioning that resonate with technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Monetization Focus: Strong background in SaaS monetization, packaging, or pricing strategy preferred.
  • Customer Orientation: Deep empathy for users; ability to translate customer insights and data into actionable messaging and GTM strategies.
  • Collaboration: Experience partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Sales to deliver impactful outcomes.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing PMM teams
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to represent Elementor externally as a thought leader.
