Lead Product Designer- Editor
About The Position
Product Design is at the core of making Elementor users succeed by providing them with the ultimate experience. Elementor is the leading website platform for WordPress and its award-winning editor gives web creators the freedom to turn their ideas into reality. As a Lead Product Designer, you will drive the strategy and design outputs of Elementor's Editor.
You will join the Editor product group, helping to define product direction and set a high bar for all aspects of product design. You will lead by example and mentor the Editor’s product design team, fostering high performance and a collaborative, creative environment.
You will work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, content designers, product marketing, marketing and support operations, to deliver exceptional product flows, features, visual concepts and more.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our product, engineering, and marketing teams to define, design, and deliver a best-in-class user experience that will achieve our business objectives
- Develop a deep understanding of our users by conducting research, data analysis, customer interviews, and usability testing
- Map possible scenarios and create detailed product flows
- Take ownership of the full design cycle, from collecting inspiration through conducting user research to creating pixel-perfect UI for all states and scenarios from development to delivery
- Ensure consistency by learning and applying Elementor’s design system
- Lead by example with hands-on work and by helping teammates grow their skills
- Identify connections across initiatives and ensure we are delivering a cohesive end-to-end user experience
- Mentor other designers, support hiring, and help evolve our design team practices
Requirements
- 7+ years of design experience at a product-focused tech company
- Skilled at delivering end-to-end product workflows that cover multiple user scenarios and edge cases
- Innovative problem solver with a passion for transforming complex problems into simple and intuitive user experiences
- Strong understanding of typography, color, and composition with a keen sense of pixel-perfect design solutions
- A highly independent team player who doesn't require hand-holding
- Able to thrive in a dynamic environment that requires quick decision-making within a tight schedule
- A high-level of spoken and written English
Nice to have:
- Experience working on a web editor or other design tools
- Experience working with a design system and building reusable components in Figma
- Familiarity with Elementor and WordPress
- Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication or Interactive Design
