Senior Full Stack Engineer - Sticklight Cloud

Israel - Ramat-Gan · Full time · Senior

About The Position

About the Team

Elementor's Sticklight Cloud Team is building the next generation of web hosting, purpose-built for the era of AI-generated applications, vibe-coded projects, and modern developer workflows. This is a greenfield mission: design, ship, and scale a cloud hosting platform for modern web apps from the ground up.

You'll be joining at day zero, alongside a small, high-conviction team. If you want to build something new, this is your seat.

About the Role

Join us as a Senior Full Stack Engineer and become a key contributor to building Elementor's next generation of cloud hosting.

In this role, you'll help shape the infrastructure and developer experience behind our cloud hosting platform, work across backend and frontend to design scalable systems and intuitive interfaces, and integrate AI as a core part of the product from day one- not bolted on as an afterthought.

If you're excited by greenfield builds, enjoy working close to the product, and care about creating experiences that make developers feel powerful, this is your opportunity to be part of something new from the ground up.

Work Environment

What do we do

Elementor is where web creation happens for real.

We are a multi-product platform powering over 13% of the internet.

Our products give millions of web creators: developers, designers, and marketers - everything they need to build, scale, and succeed.

From Israel to more than 160 countries, a new website goes live with Elementor every 10 seconds.

How do we do it

By staying AI-first, data-driven, and human-led.

We build real products that deliver real value, and we do it together.

At Elementor, creativity, fast feedback, and open collaboration shape everything we do.

You will find good energy and people who genuinely care about the product, the users, and each other.

It is a place to grow, make an impact, and help shape the future of the web.

Responsibilities

  • Build Core Infrastructure: Develop the cloud hosting platform for modern web apps (React, Next.js, Vue, static sites, and beyond), with multi-tenant support and global distribution.
  • Shape an AI-Native Developer Experience: Build AI-powered workflows that take developers from idea to deployed app in minutes. Integrate LLM-based agents and MCP (Model Context Protocol) tooling to automate deployment, debugging, and platform operations
  • Full Stack Ownership end-to-end: Take responsibility for the entire lifecycle - from backend microservices and RESTful APIs to React-based dashboards and CLI tools that developers genuinely enjoy using.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely within a self-sufficient squad of Product, Design, and Engineering to hit team OKRs and contribute to a shared technical vision.
  • Reliability & Operational Excellence: Contribute to architectural decisions, maintain high code quality, and join on-call rotations to investigate and resolve complex live incidents.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Full-Stack or Backend Engineer, with a strong track record building and scaling production systems.
  • Deep Node.js and TypeScript expertise - you know the ecosystem well and write clean, maintainable code.
  • Solid React and modern frontend skills: state management, performance optimization, and component architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with microservice architecture and distributed systems, and a clear sense of the trade-offs involved.
  • Cloud-native fluency: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and hands on experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • AI-Driven Development: Daily use of AI coding assistants (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, etc.) with a clear perspective on how to maximize their potential
  • Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs (prompt engineering, tool/function calling, agent design, or RAG pipelines) and familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
  • Comfortable with RESTful and event-driven APIs, TDD, security best practices, and clean code principles.

Skills & Mindset

  • Strong ownership mindset- ability to navigate ambiguity and make confident technical calls on a greenfield product.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams; small, high-velocity squads is a plus.
  • Clear communicator who can explain technical trade-offs to product and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with serverless and edge computing platforms (Vercel, Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda).
  • Background in developer tools, PaaS/hosting products, or infrastructure-as-a-product.
  • Familiarity with Temporal or other workflow orchestration systems.
  • Experience with observability tooling- Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
  • Knowledge of the modern JS/TS app ecosystem - Next.js, Remix, Astro, Vite, etc.

What makes this opportunity different?

  • Day Zero Impact: You will be a founding engineer on a brand-new cloud product, meaning your technical decisions will shape the platform's future.
  • Startup Agility, Enterprise Scale: Run as an independent, high-velocity squad while having the backing, assets, and resources of a highly successful global company.
  • Pioneering AI Tooling: You won't just be using AI; you will be actively building MCP tooling and agentic workflows into the core product.
